The Silk Gazar Obsession Midi Dress in Sea Foam is a 1950s-inspired, structured cocktail dress, crafted from our signature high quality Italian silk gazar in soft sea foam blue.

Gazar (also known as gazaar) is a silk or wool plain weave fabric, made with high-twist double yarns which are woven as one. Beautifully structured with a smooth texture, gazar is ideal for occasionwear and evening fashion, due to its ability to hold its shape.

The dramatic stand up collar balances out the metres of folded pleats of cloth within the skirt, and the tailored bodice skims the body and the nipped-in fifties waistline sits on the natural waist.

Fully lined in silk habotai, the dress has side pockets, and slim three quarter length sleeves, also featuring a centre-back invisible zip for step-in ease.

This wonderful special event piece is perfect as an alternative wedding dress, a modern mother of the bride outfit or a stunning black tie gown.
